New video: Scale model scratch built sci-fi ship - Part 5

Here's the latest installment in my ongoing Sci-Fi build, the Seahorse. We're up to Part 5!

The previous video, Part 4, can be found here, along with links to Part 1, 2 and 3 as well.

The interior of the cabin before it all got put together.

In Part 5 the above-deck superstructure begins to finally take shape. It's been a looooong time coming! Plus there is video of me sanding plastic with a sanding stick (riveting!) and then breaking a piece of my work (scintillating!).

Video is embedded below, but in case that doesn't work here is the link:

  1. Awesome progress. Without being demanding.I Would have appreciated more pics of the process, especially the gauges, an understandable mission to start a task and then having to stop to take a pic.

You definitely dont have to do this. But since the interior is super cool. If I may, I'd suggest placing a led inside the cabin. This will highlight all your efforts when it's all closed up and dark. Cheers

  2. LEDs could be pretty cool... also in the lighthouse itself, maybe? Or is that just too much of a faff?

Any plans for ensuring the paint grips to the crappy plastic so that you can weather it?
