It looks pretty crap. Not at all realistic, and the top layer of green acrylic paint just sloughed off in great big sheets rather than chipping and gently wearing away.
Oh well, back to the drawing board. I think my plan is now to try to remove all the green, re-apply chipping medium, and then respray green in a much thinner and spotty coat.
Sigh...
